  • Geneva Howard, Intern

I am a current graduate student at WSU working for my masters in the CMHC (clinical mental health counseling) track. I aspire to graduate next spring as an LPC RPT.

I love working with kids of all ages. I am looking forward to learning Sand tray therapy as well as other modalities like art, dance/ music, water.

So far I have worked mostly with emerging adults in my practicum. However , I’m open to all populations in order to add diversity to my counseling skills. My interventions are person centered with elements of existentialism. Narrative therapy works well for me as well as excellent rapport building with all of my clients. I tend to focus on positive psychology with a focus on mindfulness and meditation for strength and empowerment. I also appreciate CBT. I would love to have more experience with DBT and EMDR. I am offering clients $40 sessions and do not take any insurance.
